COVID 19 – Clinic update 27/3/2020

We are now offering remote consultations to all of our patients.

HOW WILL THIS WORK?

You call the clinic on the usual number 01438 716838 and leave a message with your name and telephone number, stating that you would like a remote consultation. The practice manager will call you back as soon as possible to arrange the appointment. If you are a new patient and have never been seen in the clinic before, and you have access, please go online to www.physiovineyards.co.uk and register for online booking. Whilst that facility isn’t available at the moment, it will enable us to have all your details to prepare for your consultation. Please fill it out IN FULL with all the information it requests.

WHAT WILL THE PHYSIO DO?

You and your physio will decide whether you’d prefer a video or a voice call for the consultation and will then give you the details of how to get connected. The first appointment will consist of the physio taking the history, and doing a general assessment of the condition and your general health. She will then be able to advise you on how best to manage the problem and will also be able to provide you with exercises, if appropriate.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

There will be some patients that just want a quick chat about their exercises or want to know they are doing them correctly or just want to talk through an issue. Then there will be patients with new issues that are more in-depth or acute that will need diagnosing, discussing and an exercise programme put in place to start rehabilitation so we have structured sessions as follows.

£15 for up to 15 mins

£30 for 15-30 mins

£45 for 30-45 mins

Any additional time needs can be discussed with the physio.

HOW WILL I PAY?

You will pay your physio directly, either using PayPal or via online banking. Payment details will be provided by the physio.

BUPA are now covering their patients for remote consultations. You will still need to phone BUPA and be triaged to get your authorisation code which we will need in order to be able to give you a consultation and also your policy number. If you are already authorised and in the middle of treatment with us through BUPA please just call them to clarify then you can move to remote consultations if this is appropriate and we can continue to see you.

We look forward to being able to still help you in these unsettling times, stay safe

From the team at Physio Vineyards.

We specialise in treatments for musculoskeletal problems, sports injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, back and neck injuries.

Are you one of the many people who suffer from pain? Perhaps you have chronic backache, headache, neck pain or are recovering from a fracture or sports injury. Alternatively, you could be frustrated by restricted mobility or feel that poor posture is hampering your general wellbeing. Maybe your lifestyle has changed as a result of an illness such as a stroke, or the onset of Multiple Sclerosis. You could be looking to avoid pain by learning about good posture during pregnancy or finding a rehabilitation programme following fracture, dislocation or surgery.

Physio Vineyards clinic is open to all, you don't need a GP's referral and you don't need to have a chronic condition. All you need is the desire to improve your life – to rid yourself of pain, to learn how to treat your body in a better way, to increase flexibility or to relieve stress.

We are approved by most major private health insurance companies, including AXA PPP, BUPA and Aviva. Physio Vineyards also has arrangements in place with various medico-legal companies and solicitors to provide immediate treatment for whiplash injuries as part of an insurance claim.

Our facilities are modern and purpose-built with a light, warm and friendly atmosphere. The treatment rooms are private and are equipped with all that is necessary for effective treatment.
